We thank you for donating your time and expertise to help our mission.

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities and we need you!

Whether you can donate a couple of hours here and there, a few hours a week, or be a star volunteer at our big events, we thank you for your time and commitment to your community and the arts.

By joining our volunteer program, you’ll receive a t-shirt at your first event as well as training materials, best practices, and a list of volunteer opportunities by email.

  • Edge Fest 2024 Volunteer Opportunities:

Edge Fest is our biggest event of the year! All Edge Fest volunteers will receive a free T-shirt, appropriate training materials, access to event information, and free refreshments (while supplies last). Volunteers are needed throughout the event on July 13th, 2024 appx (11 am - 10 pm) and shifts are available.

  • Hand out T-shirts and flyers with Clt Street Art Collab upcoming events and information about our mission, how to make donations or become a team member. Volunteers will receive a T-shirt and training materials. Shifts available.

  • Our vendor/artist coordinator will be in charge of directing vendors and participating artists to their assigned areas as they arrive at the event. Assist Artists with initial set up. A detailed map and specific information will be provided by the event manager. T-shirt and training provided.

  • Our Traffic Coordinators will direct event attendees to designated parking areas to ensure traffic flow and prevent unauthorized vehicles from entering pedestrian areas during the event. Detailed maps and information as well as t-shirt/training will be provided. Shift available.

  • Edge Fest takes place in the middle of summer and we need to keep our participating artists and creatives hydrated throughout the event. Hydration Specialists will make rounds checking on the participants needs for H2O, snacks, refreshments, or supplies. T-shirt and training provided. Shifts available

  • Some vendors and artists may need assistance setting up tents and materials before the event, as well as taking down and cleaning up after the event. Clean up usually consists of helping vendors/artists transport equipment to/from their vehicles. T-shirt and training provided. Early afternoon and evening shifts available.

  • Our First Aid Table will have items for basic first aid (water, Band-Aids, cool packs, snacks, etc). An attendant will hand out these items if needed.

  • Arrange free-standing panels on location, separate and distribute artist supplies, and set up signage throughout the event.

  • Other On-going Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Assist in implementing a marketing strategy and assisting our Social Media Committee in the development of campaigns and other communication strategies. Commitment of at least 3 meeting session preferred.

  • Assist in the creation and/or management of social media content and strategies across different platforms to increase engagement and reach. Assist in monitoring social media campaigns. Minimum commitment of 3 months with daily engagement preferred.

  • Works closely with our Social Media committee in reaching out and gathering any/all photos and videos taken by our photographers and other volunteers/participants so that all photographic/video material is easily accessible to our marketing, social media, and web management teams. The Event Photography Coordinator is not expected to assist all events, but rather be the hub for others to send photo materials to be easily accessible by the team.
